Now where was I?

Like my sons would say; a geek I am not!

I got through Singapore and into Indonesia and realized that pictures were not being added as I had planned. Also the different countries, plane mode off/on, WiFi on/off, every location had another way of signing onto WiFi….ugh. More than half the time that did not work even when you followed the directions. Also a FYI, Starbucks overseas do not have free WiFi! Equally terrifying was the fact that there were certain places that I could not get any reception! Can you imagine being cut off from the world, complete silence, no pings, no alerts? So I decided that a virtual trip was not going to happen. And now I will try to write my trip in hind sight which probably is better as I am rested and functional where on the trip there were times I was physically present but not mentally.

The photo above if from my plane window flying from Jakarta to the middle of the island of Java. You can see the cluster of houses in villages and then the huge expanse of the squares which will be the rice paddies. we were there just before the monsoon season which will fill up the paddies.
